Job summary

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation in Fort Worth, TX, is hiring a Production Technician for the Odessa, TX location. You will build and repair different types of valves and actuators and report to the Production Manager.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork as you collaborate with internal staff and fellow technicians to service valve systems.

Ongoing training is provided to grow product knowledge and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with valve actuation and/or control valves is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to configure, calibrate and commission digital equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Self-motivated with willingness to grow product knowledge of VanZandt products.
• High-energy, flexible, self-starter, hands-on, able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or less periodically.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal staff to provide technical assistance with our VanZandt Controls supplied valves, actuators, and control products
• Perform in-house repairs of valves, actuators and controls
• Work with other production technicians
• Operate a forklift (training will be provided)
• Other duties as assigned
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policies
