Job summary

DeZURIK in Houston, TX is seeking an Assembler to join our valve manufacturing team. The role involves assembling various valve components and sub-assemblies, with some light fabrication as needed, following detailed methods and safety practices.

You will work under close supervision to gather components into sub-assemblies or complete units, using hand and air tools, and you may assist with mounting actuators and hoses as part of the assembly process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous valve assembly experience is a strong plus.
• Background in manufacturing and ability to perform mechanical assembly with hand/air tools, hoists, or forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valve components and sub-assemblies following defined methods.
• Mount actuators, fittings, and hoses to assemblies.
• Inspect and/or test products as required.
• Rework/repair products as directed.
• Disassemble, inspect, and/or repair returned products as directed.
• Torque fasteners using hand tools or air tools.
