We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our Houston, TX team. The Machinist will operate Haas CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts for Vanzandt products.
This is a fast-paced work environment focused on producing quick-turnaround parts. The ideal candidate must be able to work efficiently under time pressure while maintaining accuracy, quality, and safety. If you can handle tight deadlines, solve problems quickly, and consistently get quality parts out the door, we want to talk to you.
This position requires an experienced machinist who can independently set up and operate CNC equipment, troubleshoot machining and programming issues, use CAD software to design and modify parts, accurately measure valves and components for Engineering, and use Renishaw probing systems on CNC machines.
The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, excellent measurement skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work closely with Engineering to develop and manufacture precision components.
This position works in a fast-paced machine shop environment where quick turnaround and meeting production deadlines are important. The employee will work around CNC machinery, cutting tools, metal components, and related equipment and must follow all company safety procedures.
