Position Overview

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, adjusting, and fitting subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools and equipment in an industrial setting. You will report to the manufacturing supervisor and work with some supervision, with limited contact with external suppliers or customers.

Responsibilities

1. Assemble and perform preset calibration/final testing of products, including small products, light subassemblies, and complete units.
2. Assemble, install, align, adjust, and fit subassemblies and parts following work instructions.
3. Clean parts and maintain tooling and equipment per work instructions.
4. Follow work instructions to become certified for assembly tasks.
5. Work with close tolerances to meet engineering and operational requirements.
6. Complete all required paperwork accurately, including Quality Assurance and Test Records.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 2-5 years of related experience.
3. Mechanical aptitude.
4. Ability to use basic hand tools.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Basic computer skills.
7. Enthusiasm, detail orientation, and ability to follow instructions.
