Job Description

If so, learn more about our Mechanical Assembler role where the machine doesn’t drive itself, instead you drive the machine! Do you want to problem-solve while you work? Do you want to learn valuable life skills by using hand tools to build things? Our Mechanical Assembly team is looking for great people like you to join them in solving our customer’s toughest problems.

Responsibilities include:

• Assembling Switchgear units according to blueprints and instructions.
• Repairing discrepancies in Switchgear units.
• Promoting safety and attending safety meetings.
• Ensuring quality by following work instructions and identifying risks.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Switchgear is a plus.
• Ability to read tape measures and understand measurements.
• Knowledge of machinery, tools, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of MES systems.
• Safety training certificates are an asset.

Working conditions:

• Temperature-controlled environment with safety gear requirements.
• Ability to work at heights and on ladders.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
