ACL Digital seeks an assembler to assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, drawers and enclosures. You will follow drawings and schematics, perform hand soldering and wire harnessing, and conduct tests on assemblies.

The role involves using hand tools, documenting malfunctions, and sometimes repair work. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 6 months of assembly experience, with basic math and reading skills.

• Experience with soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing.

Responsabilités

• Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, sheet metal enclosures and racks per drawings.
• Perform hand soldering, wiring, cabling and wiring harnessing as required.
• Conduct routine go/no-go tests on circuits, components and assemblies.
• Set up test devices using hand tools or automated methods.
• Maintain logs/records of malfunctions and repairs and provide recommendations.

Description du poste

Performs a variety of operations to assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies and sheet metal enclosures. Works with assembly prints, wiring diagrams and schematics to assemble drawers, chassis, enclosures and racks. Works on assignments that are complex in nature where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing hand soldering, wire harnessing and cabling on assembly units.

• May be required to perform repair work as necessary.
• Performs other duties as needed.
• Performs routine go/no-go tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
• Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods.
• May maintain logs and records denoting malfunctions.Requires production experience with vocational experience in mechanical assembly.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• The ability to work from established drawings and experience in soldering, wire-wrapping and cable harnessing.
• Ability to use hand tools and testing equipment.

Education Requirement

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required

6+ months of Assembly experience.
