Job summary

AtWork Group in Kent, WA is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler to build electrical and mechanical components, interpret BOMs, read blueprints, route wires, and install panels for higher level assemblies.

The role includes troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems, using calipers and meters, with strong attention to detail and a Lean mindset.

This is a full-time, on-site position offering growth opportunities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Electro-mechanical assembly experience; able to read schematics and use measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail; pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components and route wires per BOM.
• Read blueprints and schematics; install panels and subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Job description

Responsibilities

Assemble small to large electrical and mechanical components. Including routing wires and installing low-voltage electrical and electronic components such as circuit boards, communication (CAT5) and power cables, terminal boxes, main control switch panels, and instrument panels to be used in higher-level assemblies Interpret bill of materials and read basic blueprints and schematics following written procedures Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical operating systems Complete assigned tasks with little supervision

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent with experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment Electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred, including experience with Ohm/volt meters and measuring devices such as calipers and dial indicators, the ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics, and attention to detail and electro-mechanical troubleshooting Experience working with soldering and testing connections Experience working on larger electrical components Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Relevant experience could also include electrical maintenance on vehicles, experience installing/repairing/troubleshooting electrical installations (wiring in a building, alarm systems, telecom, etc.) Preferred Experience: Experience with and exposure to 5S and Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles Vocational or accredited certification within the electro-mechanical field Must be able to pass drug testing and background checks
