Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking Mechanical Assemblers/Fabricators in the Gahanna/Blacklick, OH area with 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience. The role involves assembling metal components, reading blueprints, and using power tools, with attention to detail and teamwork. 1st shift is 7am-3:30pm; 2nd shift 3:15pm-1:45am; pay ranges $19-$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Physically capable to stand, bend, lift and push during an 8-hour shift.
• Pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of metal components from simple to complex.
• Maintain high attention to detail and quality of work.
• Read drawings and use power/air/hand tools including riveting as needed.

Job Description

Mechanical Assemblers/Fabricators needed in the Gahanna/Blacklick, Baltimore (Ohio), and Groveport/Lockbourne areas.

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45am

Pay Rate based on experience and interview but ranges between $19-26/hr.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

• Assembly of a variety of simple to complex metal materials and products.
• Must have attention to detail, be detail oriented, and care about the work that you do.

Mechanical Assembler Requirements:

• Min. 1-2 yrs. knowledge + experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints +/or schematics.
• Mechanically inclined: able to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including riveting.
• Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 8 hour shift.
• High attention to detail & fine tactical ability.
• Organizational skills.
• Pallet jack experience
• Ability to take direction; work independently as well as a part of a team.
