Job summary

Staffmark Group in Columbus, OH is hiring an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. You’ll perform general mechanical assembly, wire harnesses and sub-assemblies, and calibrate/test products, using hand and power tools.

The role offers a pay rate of $19.25–$21.00 per hour, a 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with flexibility (Mon–Fri 7 AM–7 PM), and comprehensive benefits plus opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Rate: $19.25 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule: 8 am - 4:30 pm (but flexible to work between 7am-7pm Mon-Fri)

Job Duties
  • General mechanical assembly utilizing hand, powered, or pneumatic tools

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, adaptability, and strong attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Assembly Technician.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, products, or materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain productivity in warehouse and manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
