This hands-on role requires following drawings, visual aids and verbal directions to assemble, adjust, rework, or reassemble units with safety and precision. The job involves setting up equipment such as balances and powder presses, lifting up to 50 pounds, and overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Willingness to OT on Fridays and Saturdays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate analytical balances and powder press machinery.
• Follow instructions to assemble, adjust, rework, or reassemble units.
• Handle, weigh, and press inert and energetic materials using approved equipment.
• Install sub assemblies accurately.
• Work in designated explosive handling or controlled areas.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Attend external training to maintain certifications (e.g., JSTD).

This role is hands on and essential to ensuring the safe, precise, and efficient assembly of components used in highly regulated environments.Job Description:Setting up and operating analytical balances and powder press machinery.Performing basic equipment setup for specific assembly operations.Following visual aids, drawings, written instructions, and verbal direction to assemble, adjust, rework, or re assemble units.Handling, weighing, and pressing both inert and energetic materials using approved equipment.Completing inert assembly work, including minor cabling, potting, tinning, and similar tasks.Performing basic equipment setup for specific assembly operations.Installing sub assemblies accurately and consistently.Working exclusively in designated explosive handling or controlled areas.Lifting up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties.Attending external training sessions as required to maintain certifications (e.g., JSTD).Demonstrate safe manual dexterity when working with sensitive materials.
