BLADE (HDT) is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for 1st shift or weekend shifts at our Cincinnati, OH facility. The role focuses on producing quality work with continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on time and within budget.

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will set up and operate machinery, perform advanced assembly tasks from drawings, install components with hand and power tools, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or preferred.
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing related experience preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools required.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Must be able to lift and push up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to wear PPE as required by plant rules.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.

Job description

BLADE (HDT) is currently seeking Mechanical Assemblers for 1 st shift or weekend shift positions at our Cincinnati, OH facility. Weekend shift hours are Friday – Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with shift differential.

The primary function of this position is to be responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for setting up and operating assigned machinery
• Performs advanced-level assembly functions, which may include; prep, mechanical, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings, within Production
• Installation of components to contract specifications, using a wide range of hand and power tools and equipment
• Interprets blueprints, Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions
• Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
• Adheres to all quality and safety standards
• Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing related experience preferred
• Experience with hand and power tools required
• Ability to read blueprints preferred
• Must be able to lift and push up to 50 lbs, repetitive motion, with occasional lifting/pushing up to 75 lbs
• Ability to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary, including weekend
