Job summary

BLADE (HDT) in Cincinnati, OH is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for 1st shift or weekend shifts. Weekend hours are Friday–Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with shift differential.

The primary duties include setting up and operating machinery, assembling components from models/drawings, installing parts to specifications, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Lifting up to 50–75 lbs and possible overtime are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing related experience preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools required.
• Ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Must be able to lift and push up to 50 lbs, repetitive motion, with occasional lifting/pushing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary, including weekend.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned machinery.
• Performs advanced-level assembly functions from models and drawings within Production.
• Install components to contract specifications using hand and power tools and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and Process Flow Instructions.
• Follow visual and written work instructions to complete tasks on time.
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards.
• Support other projects and duties as assigned.
