Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Level 2- Mechanical Technician in Rio Rancho, NM. The position involves maintaining, operating, and diagnosing state-of-the-art 12" wafer machinery in a cleanroom, with day and night shifts and corresponding pay rates of $18/hr and $19/hr.

Successful candidates will have a mechanical background, strong math and problem-solving skills, and experience in maintenance or construction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to use torque wrenches, voltmeters, ball valves, and capacitors.
• Strong math, computer, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in general maintenance and/or construction.
• Military, automotive repair/mechanic, or electrician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, operating, and performing diagnostics and/or light repairs on machinery and product lines that process state-of-the-art 12" silicon wafers.
• Utilizing computers frequently to perform preventative maintenance.
• Proactively identify defects in the manufacturing line and/or product.
• Operating in a cleanroom environment; moving and standing for long periods.
• Filter and chemical changes and inventory tracking.

Level 2- Mechanical Technician

Rio Rancho, NM 87124

Day shift payrate- $18/hr

Night shift payrate- $19/hr

Shifts include:

• SHIFT 4 - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (Sun, Mon, Tues, and every other Sat)


• SHIFT 5 - 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (Sun, Mon, Tues, and every other Weds)


• SHIFT 6 - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (Weds, Thurs, Fri, and every other Sat)


• SHIFT 7 - 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (Thurs, Fri, Sat, and every other Weds)

What's a typical day as a Mechanical Technician? You'll be:

• Maintaining, operating, and performing diagnostics and/or light repairs on machinery and product lines that process state-of-the-art 12\" silicon wafers


• Utilizing computers frequently to perform preventative maintenance


• Proactively identify defects in the manufacturing line and/or product


• Operating in a cleanroom environment; moving and standing for long periods


• Filter and chemical changes and inventory tracking

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
