Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Associate who will perform manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures under general supervision. Responsibilities include hands-on operations, set-up, cleaning, sanitizing and preparing media and buffers per procedures, and monitoring critical processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in science, strong writing and organizational skills, and the ability to work with laboratory equipment and computers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science required.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex lab equipment.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills.
  • Experience with GMP environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on operations, set-up, clean, sanitize and prepare media and buffers per procedures.
  • Perform and monitor critical processes.
  • Execute routine validation protocols.
  • Draft and revise routine documents (e.g. MPs, SOPs, and technical reports).
  • Initiate quality incidents.
  • Direct operators on critical processes.
  • May train staff to perform hands-on tasks.

Job description

SUMMARY

Under general supervision, performs manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures.

FUNCTIONS
  1. Hands-on operations, set-up, clean, sanitize and prepare media and buffers per procedures
  2. Perform and monitor critical processes
  3. Execute routine validation protocols
  4. Comply with GMP's5. Regularly draft and revise routine documents (e.g. MPs, SOP's, and technical reports)
  5. Initiate Quality incidents
  6. Identify and recommend improvements related to routine functions and implement after approval
  7. Basic troubleshooting
  8. Recognize & accurately report problems
  9. Direct operators on critical processes
  10. Assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions (e.g. equipment logs, routine area audits, batch records)
  11. May train staff to perform hands‑on tasks
  12. May act as safety representative
  13. May assist with system ownership responsibilities

EDUCATION/LICENSES
  • Bachelor’s degree in science
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
  • Ability to assemble, disassembles, operate and understand complex equipment per procedures
  • Experience with lab equipment and computers
