Job summary

R+L Carriers in Henderson, CO is looking for a full-time Diesel Mechanic to perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs on our fleet, including Class 8 trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of diesel mechanic experience, knowledge of Cummins & Detroit engines, and be a Class A CDL holder. Qualifications

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.

• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and forklifts.
• Maintain trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies as required.

Diesel Mechanic

Full‑time position, Monday to Friday on various shifts. Hourly rate up to $41.48.

Location: Henderson, CO Service Center.

Job Overview

As a Diesel Mechanic you will perform day‑to‑day equipment maintenance on our fleet, including preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, potential forklifts, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day equipment maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts.
• Maintenance of trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding tasks as required.

Requirements

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Ability to handle major repairs.
• Experience with AC and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Must have own tools.

Preferred

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance of Cummins & Detroit engines.
• Experience using Cetaris for work orders.
• Class A CDL holder.
• Experience driving Class 8 commercial trucks.
• Experience in trailer PMs and repairs.
