MECHANICS NEEDED - $1,000 signing bonus for forklift mechanics certified on competitive equipment!

We are not seeking forklift operators; this role is geared towards those with experience repairing forklifts or other heavy equipment. Candidates need minimum 1-year experience.

Founded in 1977, C&C Lift Truck, Inc. has continuously grown over the last 42 years to become one of the leading forklift dealerships in the Tri-State area, and one of the leading Komatsu dealers in the country. We are family owned and operated, and ready to expand our team! We are currently looking for all experience levels Forklift Mechanics to service our customers in the NY, NJ and Eastern PA areas. Mechanics will respond to customer service calls on location and accurately diagnose and repair customer equipment.

Compensation

$18.00 - $32.00 / hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Repair IC and Electric trucks
• Complete scheduled PM and repair assignments within the designated time frame
• Track van inventory to meet PM schedule
• Perform routine forklift maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test forklift components
• Perform quality inspections

Skills Required

• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Capability to push, pull, carry, grasp, reach, and crouch as needed
• Effective communication with management, customers, and colleagues
• Ability to interpret documents, understand instructions, and apply principles to complex tasks
• Analyze information and document diagnoses on work orders
• Ability to decipher different colors
• Work well individually and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Prefer 1 or more years' experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or related field
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shop hours
