Benefits and Compensation

• Technicians are paid weekly.
• Hourly pay: $33.56 per hour.
• Certification bonus: $100 for each new ASE certification, up to $700.
• Quarterly bonus: up to $500 every quarter.
• Sign-on bonus: $1,750 at 30 days and $1,750 at 90 days.
• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday.
• Hours: Second shift, Monday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
• All location-specific certifications required.

Additional Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty equipment repairs and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.

Driver Requirements

• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Work independently on most tasks.
• Interact with customers/drivers to diagnose issues.
• Utilize shop management and electronic documentation systems.
• Comply with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Access and use maintenance documents.
• Support operations as needed, including service island support.
• Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required.
