Job Opportunity: Mechanic Technician Advisor

We are currently offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for new hires, payable after 90 days of employment.

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring a Mechanic Technician Advisor in Dulles, Virginia. This role involves completing service assignments, providing technical assistance to technicians, and promoting quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience with heavy construction equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Good troubleshooting skills and ability to operate heavy machinery occasionally.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and establish effective working relationships.
• Self-starter with limited supervision, able to work under stress and in emergencies.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for accurate diagnosis and repair.
• Proficiency in computer use, Microsoft Office, and service software for documentation.
• Ability to prepare accurate service reports, work orders, parts lists, and time cards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Physical Requirements
