Mechanic Shop Supervisor - Full Medical Benefits

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our team, ensuring efficient shop operations and high-quality service.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience operating and repairing tractor (class 8) and trailer (air brakes)
• Preferably 3+ years in management or supervision roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with TMT/Transman is a plus
• Valid driver's license required; CDL A preferred

Main Responsibilities

• Manage daily shop activities and workflow
• Assign work schedules and ensure continuous service
• Oversee inventory management
• Troubleshoot repairs and plan cost-effective maintenance
• Develop safe, logical, and efficient solutions to support growth
• Supervise and train shop mechanics and parts support staff
• Participate in hiring and disciplinary processes
• Ensure safety compliance and proper use of safety equipment
