Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The TikTok Shop Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing Tree Hut’s brand presence on the TikTok social media platform. The primary role will involve driving sales and media performance objectives, increasing brand awareness, and engaging with a vibrant, diverse community of TikTok users. You will collaborate with creative teams to develop content that resonates with Tree Hut’s target audience, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s values of self-care, beauty, and quality. You will analyze performance data, track trends, and optimize the TikTok shop and TikTok Shop ads experience to maximize conversions and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of TikTok’s full shop features and capacities, e-commerce, advertising, content creation, social media trends, affiliate community development, and strategic brand positioning. The TikTok Shop manager will play a crucial role in content creation, launching new products and promotions, working closely with influencers and content creators to amplify brand messaging.

Please note: This role is offered as a 1099 independent contractor position and is remote for the long term. Full-time employment is eligible for candidates who are available to work 5 days a week on-site at our Coppell, TX or Alliance locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Oversee the management of Tree Hut’s TikTok shop, ensuring that product listings are up-to-date, visually appealing, and easy to navigate.
  2. Develop, implement, and oversee TikTok Shop ad campaigns, ensuring that strategy is executed and optimized per brand marketing and media objectives, and content is curated for optimal delivery and performance.
  3. Drive social e-commerce sales, increase brand awareness, and create engaging shopping experiences for TikTok shoppers.
  4. Take full ownership of managing TikTok shop and TikTok shop ad campaigns, including integrating products into the platform, managing inventory, ad campaign creation and optimization, and ensuring compliance with TikTok’s e-commerce guidelines and policies.
  5. Produce and execute high-quality, on-brand TikTok UGC content that speaks to the latest trends and appeals to TikTok communities, including TikTok videos, reels, and other formats.
  6. Develop a content calendar for TikTok that aligns with internal marketing goals, highlighting product benefits, brand values, and creating a connection with shopper communities.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional departments (Operations, Supply Chain, Social Media, and more) and Media Agency to integrate TikTok Shop with existing e-commerce platforms, ensuring synchronization of inventory, order management, and customer data.
  8. Plan and execute sales strategies to increase sales and traffic to the TikTok Shop, including setting sales goals, adjusting pricing, and tracking campaign effectiveness.
  9. Host and manage live streaming sessions to interact with the community, showcase products in real-time, and drive sales through TikTok’s live shopping features.
  10. Collaborate with influencers, content creators, and TikTok personalities to feature products, reviews, and tutorials. Track influencer campaign effectiveness and refine strategies to optimize reach and sales.
  11. Develop and oversee a well-organized affiliate program on TikTok Shop, targeting top-tier creators for impactful partnerships.
  12. Track, analyze, and report on TikTok Content, TikTok Shop sales, and engagement metrics. Use data to identify trends, adjust strategies, and enhance customer experience.
  13. Identify growth opportunities, experiment with new strategies, and refine tactics to improve overall performance and ROI.

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  2. 3-5 years of proven experience managing TikTok Shop via Shopify, including product listing, connector synchronization, shipping processes, and maintaining shop health.
  3. Extensive experience managing e-commerce platforms and paid social advertising campaigns, with a deep understanding of TikTok Shop's features, tools, advertising services, and best practices.
  4. Strong grasp of TikTok’s platform, including content creation, trends, user-generated content (UGC) strategies, advertising methods, campaign setup, and analytics.
  5. Expertise in social media marketing, influencer relationships, and community engagement to boost brand presence and sales.
  6. Exceptional communication skills, capable of creating clear and effective creator briefs.
  7. Innovative thinker with creative ideas to engage the TikTok community and increase sales.
  8. Familiarity with skincare and beauty industry trends to ensure relevant content and campaigns.
  9. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions for performance optimization.
  10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
