Job summary

Jobtailor in Charlotte, NC is seeking a field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites.

You will troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems, read schematics, and ensure quality service on every visit. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required, with on-site work and travel to customer locations. Training is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Basic troubleshooting of lift trucks and related equipment.

• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks


• Maintain a service van and its inventory


• Process paperwork after completion of each job


• Provide field service support to customers

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks


• Legally authorized to work in the United States


• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes


• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines


• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics


• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills


• Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and testing equipment


• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through


• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, knowledge of testing equipment, and industry-related training preferred
