Job summary

IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino seeks a skilled Mechanic to maintain, service, and repair pumps, generators, and related mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and document service activities across the fleet.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with heavy equipment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work in varying weather. Full benefits, weekly pay, and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Degree or certificate in diesel or heavy-duty repairs or related field is desired.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for handling multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain the company's fleet and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and execute necessary repairs.
• Complete necessary service and maintenance on all equipment.
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment.
• Perform manual disassembly and assembly of pumping equipment and mechanisms.
• Repair and maintain submersible and centrifugal pumps as well as generators.
• Maintain service order process and document repairs.
• Keep work area clean and organized for enhanced shop operations.
• Maintain accurate service records on all equipment serviced.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Mechanic is to maintain, service, and repair the company's mechanical equipment, including pumps, generators, and related equipment.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain the company's fleet and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and execute necessary repairs
• Complete necessary service and maintenance on all equipment
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment
• Perform manual disassembly and assembly of pumping equipment and mechanisms
• Repair and maintain submersible and centrifugal pumps as well as generators
• Maintain service order process, including providing descriptions of repairs on maintenance on mechanical equipment's; file appropriate documentation as required
• Keep work area clean and organized for enhanced shop operations
• Maintain accurate service records on all equipment serviced

  Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in the service and repair of large equipment preferred
  • Degree or certificate in diesel or heavy-duty repairs or related field desired
  • Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects
  • Proficient in utilizing current technology to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment

  • Skilled in use of various tools used to maintain and repair mechanical equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly and repair instructions, manuals and schematics
