IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino is looking for a Mechanic to maintain, service, and repair our mechanical equipment, including pumps and generators, in Davison, MI. This role involves troubleshooting, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment reliability across the fleet.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a diesel/heavy-duty repair background, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in the service and repair of large equipment preferred.
• Degree or certificate in diesel or heavy-duty repairs or related field desired.
• Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects.
• Proficient in utilizing current technology to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain the company's fleet and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Complete maintenance on all equipment.
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble pumping equipment and mechanisms.
• Repair and maintain submersible and centrifugal pumps and generators.
• Maintain service records and documentation for equipment serviced.
• Keep work area clean and organized for efficient shop operations.
• Dispose of hazardous materials per company and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety standards and The Mersino Way in daily activities.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain the company's fleet and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and execute necessary repairs
• Complete necessary service and maintenance on all equipment
• Perform quality checks on repaired equipment
• Perform manual disassembly and assembly of pumping equipment and mechanisms
• Repair and maintain submersible and centrifugal pumps as well as generators
• Maintain service order process, including providing descriptions of repairs on maintenance on mechanical equipment's; file appropriate documentation as required
• Keep work area clean and organized for enhanced shop operations
• Maintain accurate service records on all equipment serviced
• Dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with company and regulatory agency requirements
• Adhere to applicable company and regulatory agency environmental, health and safety standards
• Ensure that The Mersino Way is a guiding document in all daily activities
