Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to inspect and repair equipment and facilities on site. The role requires basic technical health-care training and a solid track record in maintenance.

You must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to communicate clearly, and keep accurate records in a safety‑minded environment. This position contributes to the hospital’s mission by ensuring reliable infrastructure and equipment readiness, supporting patient care, and adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED required; technical training in a health-care environment and equipment and utilities required.
• Driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Six years of maintenance experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• Knowledge of safety codes; ability to use hand and power tools; ability to maintain records; effective communication.

• Inspects, reports malfunctions, and makes minor repairs to equipment and physical facilities.
