Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a dependable Food Service Assistant to support patient meals, dishroom tasks and sanitation in a busy hospital setting. You will work as part of the nutrition services team to ensure accurate tray preparation and clean, safe food handling.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, experience in food service is preferred, and strong communication and confidentiality practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in high-volume healthcare food service preferred.
• Must follow sanitation and safety standards per regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service required.
• Ability to identify patients and maintain confidentiality.
