Morton Salt is seeking a maintenance mechanic to join our team on the 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm). You will maintain, troubleshoot, install and repair mobile and stationary equipment under limited supervision.
The role requires a strong mechanical background with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, diesel engines, low-voltage electrical systems, and welding/cutting; a high school diploma or GED is required, with knowledge of safety protocols and CMMS documentation.

Under limited supervision, is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and repair of mobile and stationary equipment. Required to perform work with low-voltage systems up to 60VDC. This position will be on 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm).
