Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies seeks an on-site Mechanic in Metropolis, IL to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery. The role features an hourly wage starting at $38+, with a Real ID required for customer sites and a focus on safe, reliable operations.

You will disassemble, repair, assemble, align machinery, and perform preventive maintenance using precision tools. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a technical diploma preferred and 2+ years of hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial mechanical maintenance or repair experience.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and interpret manuals/drawings.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance per established guidelines.
• A REAL ID and customer site access requirements.
