Job summary

Job description

This 12-month position is part of the Teamsters bargaining group.

Pay Rate: $27.00/hr - $28.74/hr

Hours: Must be flexible and available to work evenings & weekends.

Requirements

• The minimum requirements for a drivers license must posses a valid NJ Class B commercial driver license with air brake endorsement, passengers endorsement with a mechanics restriction. If the applicant is under twenty-one (21) years of age, six (6) months after the employee's twenty-first birthday, the employee must have obtained a valid NJ Class B CDL with air brake endorsement, passengers endorsement with a mechanics restriction or resign from the position for failing to meet the qualifications
• Should have knowledge of using computers to diagnose vehicle systems, to read error codes, find information for repairs and make the repairs.
• Two (2) years experience in the automotive field or graduated from a technical automotive school.
• Have knowledge of air conditioning systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems and have the ability to repair and rebuild vehicle components for replacement. This includes engines, suspensions, drivelines and rear end gears
