Quality Talent Group is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic for a leading building automation and industrial technology client in Hubbard, TX. The role focuses on maintaining heavy delivery trucks and performing field support across the territory.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), 3 years of related experience or a diesel mechanics background, can work outdoors in all weather, and can lift up to 100 pounds. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, CDL preferred.
• 3 years experience directly related to the duties or mechanics school graduate.
• Requires working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Ensures delivery trucks operate flawlessly, preventing breakdowns from blocking active client placement avenues, paving paths, or haul routing lanes.
• Travels between temporary plant installations and delivery zones within the designated territory to provide regular fleet PMs and emergency field support.
• Advanced mechanical mastery over both non-agitator wet-mix dump units and intricate dry-mix ready-mix trucks.
• Executes heavy engine, brake, and chassis interventions using proper heavy jack stands, blocking arrays, and EPA-compliant fluid containment units.
• Maintains exact ready-mix drum revolution speeds and internal blade structures to ensure truck fleets adhere to the 90-minute / 300-revolution quality specs.
