Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: COMPETITIVE! Hourly Pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.00, with flat rate earnings between $25.00 and $38.00. This role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.

Responsible for the efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of guest vehicles. The Automotive Technician position offers a great opportunity to start your career at Monro. From day one, you'll participate in a comprehensive technician training program covering all aspects of your role and preparing you for the next level. As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you will be an essential team member performing repair services on guest vehicles. You will work with a team to deliver 5-star guest experiences, using your technician skills to care for people and their cars, ensuring safe and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs and maintenance for which you are qualified.
• Secure guest approval before performing work based on diagnosis; maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Test drive guest vehicles and safely use the shop truck to pick up inventory as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.
