Job summary

Our client, a leading automation and logistics operations organization, is seeking a Mech & Robotics Technician to join their team in Fargo, ND. You will be part of the Operations Maintenance team, supporting facility reliability and automation systems, with a safety-first mindset and strong troubleshooting skills.

Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance on automated equipment, robotic systems, and CMMS documentation, while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring a safe work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with material handling equipment, automated conveyor systems, or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic systems.
• Experience reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on automated material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues involving motors, belts, sensors, relays, and other automation equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair robotic and electromechanical systems to support operational efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and documentation using CMMS and other systems.
• Support a safe work environment while mentoring and assisting junior technicians as needed.
