Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive or battery cell manufacturing preferred).
  • Fundamental working knowledge of industrial process, PM planning, and machine safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize & Innovate: Provide technical expertise to optimize highly automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Systems Integration: Manage interaction between systems and upper-level computers; configure parameters for varying production loads.
  • PM planning and machine ownership: Review PM plan performance using machine data; drive improvements and constraint reduction.
  • KPI tracking and development: Track and improve department KPIs using electronic tools and algorithms.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use Andon data to prioritize efforts; lead Six Sigma projects on efficiency, quality, and reliability.
  • Technical Collaboration: Bridge collaboration between departments to ensure equipment performance.
  • Maintenance Support: Establish preventive maintenance plans; mentor/train technicians.
  • Standards & Safety: Ensure FPS and Safety OS adherence to achieve zero injuries.
  • Life Cycle Management: Support design changes, code updates, and backups for automation.
