Job summary

Provide CIC, a community interest company delivering health and social care, seeks a Lead for Making Every Contact Count (MECC) within the Essex Wellbeing Service. You will promote MECC across partner organisations, train staff to use everyday conversations to support health and wellbeing, and act as the main MECC training contact.

You will collaborate with partners, coordinate meetings, and produce reports while travelling around the county.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and relationship-building are essential.
• Ability to manage varied priorities in a busy, multi-partner environment.
• Knowledge of the Essex area and a driving licence with willingness to travel around the county.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the direction and development of the 3-year MECC training plan.
• Lead the development and delivery of MECC in Essex.
• Find practical ways to embed MECC into services.
• Co-produce MECC training and resources tailored to organisations' needs.
• Deliver MECC training across the county, both internally and externally.
• Organise and coordinate internal and external meetings with a range of stakeholders.
• Produce clear reports, documents, and presentations.
• Build positive relationships with partners.
• Respond to enquiries via phone, email, virtually, or in person.
• Evaluate outcomes and translate these into recommendations to improve delivery and participant understanding of MECC.
• Keep accurate records in line with information governance rules.
• Act as the main contact for MECC support and training.
