Minimum Requirements:
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
- Qualified to operate power tools and equipment like wrappers, slicers, grinders, etc.
- Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals.
- Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment and willingness to assist colleagues.
- Calmness and tactfulness in stressful situations, with a positive attitude towards customers and staff.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in meat work or food preparation.
- Dependability and integrity in past work records.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, OSHA, and food handling regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and display merchandise neatly and efficiently.
- Ensure product quality, freshness, safety, and proper rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
- Keep carts, tools, and supplies organized; ensure floors are clean and safe.
- Manage inventory levels and freshness in display cases; unload and prepare merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer and colleague relations.
- Sanitize equipment per policies and health regulations.
- Create a friendly impression on customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Assist customers promptly and cheerfully, helping them find products.
- Follow all relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including dress code, grooming, and safety standards.
- Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
