Minimum Requirements:
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and labels.
- Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as wrappers, slicers, grinders, and saws.
- Ability to handle chemicals safely.
- Teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Calm and tactful handling of stressful situations, with a positive attitude towards customers and staff.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in meat work or food preparation.
- Dependability and integrity in past work.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment, OSHA, and food handling.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain neat and organized merchandise displays.
- Ensure product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
- Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and organized.
- Unload trucks, sort, and prepare merchandise for sale.
- Provide excellent customer and team member relations.
- Sanitize equipment per policies and health regulations.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
- Assist customers promptly and cheerfully, helping them find products.
- Follow all company, state, and federal laws and policies, including dress code, grooming, and food safety.
- Ensure work area and equipment are clean and safe.
