Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking team members for our meat department. You will handle fresh and processed meats, assist Members with questions, and help maintain clean and well-stocked meat, seafood, and prepared foods sections.

Responsibilities include weighing, wrapping, labeling, stocking, and rotating products, while adhering to safety and quality standards and company policies. This role emphasizes teamwork, speed, and accuracy to serve Members efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions and recommending meat products.
• Weigh, wrap, label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood; assist in packing freshly cut meats.
• Inspect and store meat on delivery; ensure quality standards.
• Stock and rotate meat, seafood, and cheese cases; dispose of expired items per policy.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, fixtures, and meat department areas.
• Maintain club policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, full attendance as an essential function.
