Job summary

Cloverdale Foods is seeking a Meat Snacks Production Supervisor to oversee a skilled team in a fast‑paced plant setting. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while guiding both permanent and temporary staff.

The role involves planning schedules, implementing improvements, and collaborating with QA, Safety, and other departments to meet performance targets. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in food processing, supervisory roles, HACCP/PCQI certification, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, Food Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in food processing, with a strong understanding of industry standards and practices.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• HACCP or PCQI certification required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise non‑exempt Production Team by promoting safety first and addressing employee concerns.
• Plan work schedules, delegate responsibilities, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, and training of direct reports.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage ongoing projects and contribute to future initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure efficiency and productivity targets.
• Assist in developing SOPs and process controls to optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with Safety & Compliance to maintain a safe environment.
• Work with QA and Food Safety to ensure high‑quality, safe products.
