Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures, developing safe work habits, and identifying and eliminating hazards.
• Maintain product safety and quality by adhering to standards and reporting deviations.
• Dedication to Jack Link’s values.
• Manage start-up to ensure equipment is in proper operation condition, including proper safety equipment; Pre-Op inspection.
• Monitor first piece check at start of shift and each new product and document on paperwork (temperature, label, weight, diameter, length).
• Coordinate with supervisor on supplies and products needed to maximize output.
• Monitor workflow and adjust personnel and resources to maximize production efficiencies.
• Meet with supervisor regularly to update daily production schedule; complete paperwork at end of shift.
