Job summary

Link Snacks is seeking a FSQ Supervisor to lead a team of auditors and technicians at a USDA-inspected meat snacks facility. You’ll ensure compliance with HACCP-based food safety programs, train staff, and drive quality improvements.

The role supports the FSQ Manager in maintaining regulatory and customer quality standards across shifts. Primary responsibilities include coaching, record-keeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance in food processing.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree; 2+ years in meat/poultry; supervisor experience; studies in Food Science, Microbiology, Meat Science, or Animal Science.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises FSQ Auditors and FSQ Technicians performing food safety and quality activities.
• Support floor teams with processing records and question resolution.
• Audit and monitor FSQ procedures per SQF Quality System requirements.
• Lead trainings and meetings to build food safety awareness.
• Report and analyze records to track food safety/quality trends.
• Address production-floor safety/quality issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement or new product development projects.
