Meijer Inc. is seeking a Meat and Seafood Team Leader to oversee day-to-day merchandising, stocking, product flow, planograms, and pricing. You will directly lead Meat team members and ensure top performance and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, scheduling, and adherence to Meijer standards for quality, safety, and cost control, maintaining a high standard of service for shoppers.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Achieves financial performance goals in Meat and Seafood departments.
• Conducts interviews to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Trains Meat team members to build a high‑performance team and minimize turnover.
• Writes and manages Meat schedules to meet service levels and control expenses.
• Ensures Real Time Apply is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintains signing execution and pricing accuracy.
• Ensures sanitation and safety procedures are followed.
• Controls inventory shrinkage through BOH accuracy and rotation guidelines.
• Completes MITS tasks in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
