Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Team Leader Assistant to support daily operations in our Sedona store.

You will assist with profitability, expense control, merchandising, and labor planning while developing Team Members and maintaining high customer service standards. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, ensuring product quality and freshness, and training staff on proper meat and seafood handling.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven leadership and people-management abilities.
• Solid knowledge of meat and seafood products and ongoing product training.
• Experience with inventory, margin, and labor control systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader in daily operations including profitability, expense control, and labor management.
• Lead and develop Team Members and foster teamwork and high morale.
• Model outstanding customer service and resolve customer questions promptly.
• Maintain product knowledge and ensure quality, freshness, and proper storage.
• Schedule to maximize productivity and meet sales targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
