• Provide leadership to the Meat & Seafood team and oversee all daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
• Lead and develop Associate Team Leaders and Team Members.
• Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution.
• Build a positive work environment of teamwork, respect, and morale.
• Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team.
• Model and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Follow through on customer questions and resolve concerns.
• Maximize productivity and efficiency through proper scheduling.
• Develop and maintain creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Achieve sales, margin, expense, and labor targets.
• Maintain product assortment, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Follow procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe practices.
