This role supports ordering, inventory control, and training while maintaining safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with basic math and measurement knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years professional leadership experience in grocery/meat retail.
• Strong customer service mindset and outgoing, friendly behavior.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Follow safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Meat & Seafood Manager in department management and merchandising.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and communication.
• Support hiring, training, and development of the Meat & Seafood team.
• Ensure adherence to receiving, stocking, and unloading procedures for freshness.
