Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly Meat & Seafood associate to provide excellent guest service in the department. You will prepare knife-ready products, cut, wrap, weigh, and price items to Lowes Foods standards while engaging with guests.

You will assist with receiving, inventory, stocking, and rotating meat offerings. Maintain safety and sanitation, ensure freshness and in-date items, and communicate guest requests to management in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs constantly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests as they approach the department.
• Prepares knife-ready products for sale (cut, slice, trim, wrap, weigh, and price) according to standards.
• Assists in product receiving, inventory, and storage.
• Prices, stocks, and rotates frozen items, prepared meats, and fresh meat/seafood.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in prep areas, coolers, freezers, and sales floor.
• Maintains high quality and freshness with products available for sale.
• Communicates shrink issues to management.
• Communicates guest requests/concerns to management.
• Makes PA announcements for sale and promotional items in the meat/seafood department.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
