Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the Meat Department to provide excellent member service, assist with meat, poultry and seafood products, and help maintain cleanliness and stock in the department.

Role requires experience with meats or deli items, knowledge of wrapping equipment, and a commitment to safety standards; at least 18 years old. On-site position in a fast-paced retail environment with team-based goals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap and label cuts of meat, poultry and seafood.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
• Stock and rotate cases to meet expiration dates and quality standards.
• Support club policies and perform duties in other departments as needed.
