Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member to provide customer assistance, weigh and wrap meat, and support the meat cutter in packaging fresh products. You will rotate stock and ensure quality standards across meats, seafood, and prepared foods while upholding club policies.

The role emphasizes accurate labeling, fast, safe handling, and a strong commitment to member satisfaction within a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats required.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines preferred.
• Experience in a meat/deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Assists the meat cutter in packaging freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
