Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking team members for the Meat Department to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats. You will assist with seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses, while helping Members with questions and product recommendations.

Maintain cleaning and safety standards in the meat area. Qualifications include experience with meats, wrapping machines, and prior deli department work, plus being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
