Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our meat department. You will provide a high level of customer service, handle meat preparation, receiving, storage, and merchandising while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

In this hands-on role you will work with weights and measurements, rotate stock, assist customers with selections and special orders, and support a positive, customer-focused store atmosphere. Prior food-handling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, reliable and able to interact with customers.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 90 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload and transport meats from delivery.
• Provide high level of customer service and assist with questions and special orders.
• Rotate meats and ensure product knowledge; follow Fresh at 4 and Clean as You Go programs.
