Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to join our team. You will provide outstanding customer service while handling meats, processing deliveries, and maintaining product knowledge and safety procedures.

You will assist customers with questions and special orders, rotate stock, and support a clean, efficient department in a fast-paced store environment. This hands-on position requires teamwork, reliability, and flexible scheduling.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math knowledge.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to perform related duties.
• Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior and positive attitude with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Follow safety, health, and weights and measures regulations.
• Capable of standing for up to 4 hours, 8 hours per shift; walk up to 2 miles per 8 hours.
• Work in a temperature-controlled area and clean workspaces.
• Vision required for using knives, saws, grinders, and other equipment.
• Lift/carry 25–90 lbs. or more; move with pallet jacks and racks as needed.
• Move tables and equipment with safe handling.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Receive, store, and process meats; unload deliveries and ensure proper rotation.
• Assist customers with questions, special orders, and product location.
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and department programs.
• Adhere to Meat Department guidelines and keep work area clean and organized.
