Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service while handling meat products and maintaining safe, clean procedures in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist customers, handle meat preparation, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. This hands-on role requires standing, lifting, and providing accurate product information to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to perform other duties as assigned.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with strong customer interaction skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Adhere to safety, health, weights and measures regulations.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and product knowledge.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; handle deliveries.
• Support in weekly ads and direct customers to product locations.
• Maintain clean and safe work area following programs.
• Follow all department procedures and safety guidelines.
